I only have two up at the moment, but there’ll be more coming soon. I’m also noodling a more ambitious Wattpad project, so stay tuned for that. If you enjoy the stories, I’d love it if you’d give them a vote or leave a comment on Wattpad.
On the Road
In just over a week I’m heading to the Pacific Northwest, one of my absolute favorite parts of the country. I’ll be meeting a group of colleagues and friends for the weekend, then visiting a fellow writer for a few days of creative retreat. No doubt there’ll be walks, talks, food, and wine involved in all of this, and I can’t wait to see trees again!
I’m very excited to be leading a workshop at Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network on beautiful Bainbridge Island while on my travels. I know! I have the worst life! You can find out all about the workshop at BARN’s website. If you happen to be in the area, or need an excuse to be in the area, there are still a couple of spots open.
It’s been a good year for books so far this year. I’ve found some wonderful new books, such as Celeste Ng’s Everything I Never Told You, and revisited a couple of old favorites, like Kate Atkinson’s Behind the Scenes at the Museum. Currently on my nightstand is A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki. I have so many to share I think I’ll do a mid-year Hot Books list instead of waiting until next January.
We’re enjoying perfect weather here in Southern California. Sunny days, light winds, and temperatures just where I like them, around 70 degrees. I plan to make the most of it this Memorial Day weekend, before the summer onslaught of heat and traffic begins. Hope you have a great weekend too.
